My best nightshot - Toronto by night from the top of CN Tower

This picture took a lot of research online...a lot of theory stuck in my head with no practice absolutely and I lacked the most important thing required... A tripod...but all my research paid off when I got a number of awesome nightshots of which this is my personal favorite...Breathtaking,isnt it?

Crack-O-Dawn

Before marriage,my hubby and I took early morning drives to Santa Monica beach to catch the sunrise and some quality time alone.I hate getting up early mornings but this shot was worth it.An early morning Jet plane left a streak of white smoke which caught the rays of the early morning sun...I had an impression of God ,paintbrush in hand, looking at this sunrise with satisfaction.

Neptune...!!!

Coy,isnt he?One of Enid Blyton's books,Galliano's Circus, has a seal called Neptune in it.I remembered how Neptune wud do remarkable tricks in the ring and this one which I met at the Sea World ,San Diego, was no less in match. This smart creature wud actually pose this way to get snacks from the onlookers and wud come to the edge of the pool and manage to stand on his tail and float holding himself high to reach ur hand holding the snack...He wud be a match for my dog...

Over the clouds I walk

The first picture was taken early in the morn on a flight to Canada. The clouds below looked so remarkably solid that it brought back memories of old hindi movies in which the hero and heroine would dance and sing on the clouds. This picture is so peaceful. So clear and fresh.
The second picture was taken at Niagara. The lovely blue of the Niagara river, that sailboat far off,the small red roofed villa on the side...lent the snap an air which was both calm, cheerful and brisk. What do u think?

A bright lil daisy....peeping out of the lush dark forest

I have been fascinated by cameras ever since I was a lil gal and in some part of me where I stored away my secret dreams,I had put away a wish for a camera. When I bought my first camera, I devoted myself to learning it in and out.I still have not finished learning and using all the features on my model but like my friends say, am extracting every penny's worth from it.This blog will feature a few of my snaps which I fell in love with. These may not be perfect in any sense but to me the imperfections add to the beauty of the snap. For instance, this tiny daisy.I spent a long time on all fours in the grass while my hubby-to-be patiently waited for me.I was delighted by the result. It looked like a fresh lil daisy peeping out from a dark green lush jungle. My friend who commented on this snap said that had I removed the half decayed blade of grass on the right before taking the picture, it wud have been perfect. But in my eyes, that adds to the beauty of the snap.
